Last night in a sold out concert at Buckfast Abbey, Brent Singers, with orchestra led by Julie Hill, soloists and Musical Director Matthew Searles treated our audience to Vivaldi's wonderful Gloria and Come, Ye Sons of Art, Away by Purcell. After the interval we were also delighted to hear a performance of Handel's Organ Concerto (Op. 4, No. 4) performed by the brilliant Ben Horden with orchestral accompaniment. It was wonderful to perform to such a large audience in the beautiful surroundings of the Abbey. Brent Singers return to the Abbey on Thursday 4th August to sing at the Summer Fair. Our next concert will be for Christmas on Sunday 3rd December at St Petroc's church in South Brent when we will be singing Handel's Messiah.
