This weekend, Brent Singers celebrated our golden anniversary - 50 years since the choir was formed. We celebrated in style with choir members joined by guests including our president Roland Mason, our former musical director Philip Arkwright, and other special people who have supported us over the last 50 years. We began with a welcome from our committee chair, Gill Bedford, followed by the choir singing a selection of pieces from our repertoire specially selected for the evening by our musical director Matthew Searles. Then after a wonderful meal we were treated to a quiz of general and musical knowledge with our quizmaster Philip Arkwright. A great evening was had by all and the committee would like to thank everyone who came along to share in our celebration. Here's to the next 50 years!
