This weekend we were joined by our Come and Sing participants as well as soloists Michael Graham and Harriet Pecksmith, organist David Davies, and musical director Matthew Searles for a fantastic sold out concert at Buckfast Abbey. Our capacity audience enjoyed almost 100 singers performing Fauré's Requiem in the centenary year of his death, as well as solo pieces from Michael Graham, and organ solo from David Davies, all finished off with Vaughan-Williams' Five Mystical Songs. It was wonderful to have so many singers, and we extend our thanks to our Come and Sing participants and hope that they enjoyed their day with us. For our next performance Brent Singers will be returning to the Abbey for Handel's Coronation Anthems and Mozart's Coronation Mass - a fitting concert as we end our 50th anniversary celebrations.
