On a beautiful spring evening in Modbury, we were delighted to perform the dramatic Petite Messe solennelle with soloists and our director Matthew Searles. St George's church was filled with wonderful music to an appreciative audience enjoying Rossini's theatrical mass setting performed as Rossini himself preferred, with piano and harmonium accompaniment. It was a magnificent evening which was hugely enjoyed by performers and audience alike.
